Rachel believes passionately in passing on her knowledge to the next generation of violinists and period performers. She delights in working with amateur and professional students of all standards.

Rachel is frequently asked to give masterclasses, courses, lectures on performance practice and presentation, and holds several teaching posts as well as developing new associations through outreach with concert promoters the world over. Masterclasses

In addition to her continued work with The Royal Academy of Music and The Juilliard School of Music, Rachel holds masterclasses and private lessons for organisations worldwide. Collaborations and teaching residencies have included the Royal Scottish National Orchestra, the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, University St Andrew’s Summer Baroque course, National Centre for Early Music, and Dartington International Summer School.

Outreach

Rachel also raises funds through the Mozart Music Fund to support tuition for youngsters wanting to learn instruments.
